I was there in Fort Lauderdale helping Tom Ellis with one of the stages in January 2001. This is what I wrote at the time:
"Chris Chandler, a bald poet I later jammed with around a campfire, teamed up with a folk singer named Magda Hiller and told amazing stories that fit with what Magda was playing on her guitar. It was just another great moment in a weekend full of great moments."

Hello Mag, I was just listening to your dad on NPR and I was only able to really ‘take in’ about the last ten minutes of the interview. Well what really struck me was the remarkable similarities between your dad and my aunt whom, coincidently enough, was married to a(nother) wonderful author, who passed on about two years now.
Listening to herb was, well...very nice…. so I decided to do a little research and here I am. However, looks like Herb enjoys moonlit strolls on the beach with Nanc?? For
I would love for these two to communicate.
Also: I think your music’s prettybrilliant, it is obviously a mere reflection of the artist, true?
